This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how Walden Biosciences and any of its affiliates (collectively, “Walden,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), process the personal data that we collect about you, including when you visit a Walden website that links to this Privacy Policy — such as www.waldenbiosciences.com (our “Sites”), participate in one of our clinical research studies (the “Studies”), or otherwise provide personal information to Walden. We refer to the Sites, Studies, and other services provided by Walden together in this Privacy Policy collectively as the “Services.” Please note that our Sites, Studies and other Services may provide privacy policies, informed consent forms and other types of just-in-time notices that supplement this Privacy Policy and describe the processing of your personal information in relation to those Services.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to our processing of information about employees or job applicants. Employees, job applications, and independent contractors should refer to the employee privacy policy for information on how employment data is processed. This Privacy Policy also does not apply to the processing of data by our clinical research organization (“CRO”) partners during the course of our Studies. If you are making a request for access, we may not be able to provide specific pieces of Personal Data if the disclosure creates a substantial, articulable, and unreasonable risk to the security of your Personal Data or our systems or networks. If you are making a request for erasure, we will ask that you confirm that you would like us to delete your Personal Data again before your request is submitted. In certain circumstances, we may not erase all Personal Data, as permitted by applicable law.

To participate in our Studies, you must first review and sign an informed consent and authorization form (“Informed Consent”) for the Study. To the extent anything in this Privacy Policy conflicts with the Informed Consent, the terms of the Informed Consent will control.
We collect information about you when you voluntarily provide it to us, when you access the Site, participate in our Studies, and use our Services, or if other sources provide it to us, as further described below. Please note that we need certain types of information, so that we can provide the Services to you. If you do not provide us with such information, or ask us to delete it, you may no longer be able to access or use part or all of our Services.

Internet/Network Activity Information Collected through Our Sites. Individuals should always review and, if necessary, adjust their privacy settings on third-party websites and networks before sharing information with us or the social media platform.
We work closely with third parties (including but not limited to, third party intermediaries, such as vendors, physicians, medical professionals, research organizations, or pharmacies with whom we partner to provide you with the Services as well as their respective health care service providers, sub-contractors in technical, advertising networks, analytics providers, and search information providers). Such third parties will sometimes provide us with additional information about you.

Combined Information. California’s “Shine the Light” law permits California residents to annually request and obtain information free of charge about what Personal Data is disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year.
